Über TInaba

Tinaba is an Italian fintech service operated in partnership with Banca Profilo that provides an app-based payment account with an Italian IBAN, a physical and virtual Mastercard, and tools for personal and business payments. The consumer account supports SEPA transfers, peer‑to‑peer payments between Tinaba users, bill and tax payments such as pagoPA/MAV/RAV/F24, mobile phone top‑ups, and online and in‑store spending; Apple Pay and Google Pay compatibility is available for eligible devices. The app includes budgeting features, shared expense management, group collections and donation “pots,” and optional investment services provided by Banca Profilo; savings “jars” and cashback or promotional initiatives may be offered periodically. An under‑18 option exists with parental controls, and business plans offer merchant acceptance via QR/pay‑by‑link, online checkout integrations, and settlement to a dedicated IBAN. Account opening is remote via the app and requires standard KYC (government ID, tax code, selfie) and residency/eligibility checks; service availability and language are primarily oriented to Italy. Funds held with Banca Profilo fall under the Italian deposit guarantee scheme up to the statutory limit, and payments use PSD2 strong customer authentication and 3‑D Secure.
