Über China Construction Bank (Europe) S.A. (Spółka Akcyjna) Oddział w Polsce
China Construction Bank (Europe) S.A. (Spółka Akcyjna) Oddział w Polsce is the Polish branch of China Construction Bank (Europe) S.A., a Luxembourg-authorized credit institution within the China Construction Bank group. Operating under the EU single passport regime, it is prudentially supervised by the Luxembourg Commission de Surveillance du Secteur Financier (CSSF) with host oversight by the Polish Financial Supervision Authority (KNF) for activities conducted in Poland, and is registered locally in the National Court Register as a branch of a foreign credit institution. Based in Warsaw, the branch focuses on corporate and institutional clients rather than retail, providing current and term deposit accounts, cash management and payment services (including SEPA and international transfers via SWIFT), trade finance instruments such as letters of credit, guarantees and documentary collections, foreign exchange and multicurrency settlement, and bilateral or syndicated lending for working capital and investment needs. Services are delivered through relationship managers and electronic channels, typically in Polish, English and Chinese. Eligible deposits are protected by the Luxembourg deposit guarantee scheme (Fonds de garantie des dépôts Luxembourg) up to EUR 100,000 per depositor, rather than by the Polish Bankowy Fundusz Gwarancyjny, and the branch applies EU and Polish AML/KYC and sanctions requirements. Pricing, access criteria and documentation are set for corporate clients and are provided in the bank’s tariffs and contractual terms available from the branch or its website. The offering is oriented to companies engaged in cross-border trade and investment, including business with China and other markets, and does not target mass-market consumers.
