OTP banka d.d. is a Croatian commercial bank headquartered in Split and a subsidiary of OTP Bank Nyrt. of Hungary, operating nationwide across a branch and ATM network and via internet and mobile banking. It serves individuals, SMEs and large corporates with current and savings accounts in euro and selected foreign currencies, term deposits, payment cards (Visa and Mastercard) with contactless functionality, domestic and cross-border payments (SEPA and SWIFT), consumer loans, overdrafts and housing loans. Following Croatia’s euro adoption, accounts are primarily in EUR with HR IBANs and SEPA participation; pricing is packaged by account type, with separate fees for cards, transfers, and ATM withdrawals, particularly for out-of-network and cross-border use. The bank is licensed and supervised by the Croatian National Bank and operates under EU banking rules; eligible deposits are covered by the Croatian statutory deposit guarantee scheme up to EUR 100,000 per depositor. Account opening requires standard identification and KYC documentation under local regulations; availability for non-residents, remote onboarding options and specific product terms depend on individual assessment. Customer support is provided through branches, contact centers and digital channels, with service available in Croatian and, for selected services, in English.
