Natixis

Natixis is a French corporate and investment bank wholly owned by Groupe BPCE, following a 2021 tender offer and delisting from Euronext Paris; it now operates as part of BPCE’s Global Financial Services activities. Headquartered in Paris with offices in major financial centers across Europe, the Americas, and Asia-Pacific, Natixis focuses on services for corporates, financial institutions, and public-sector entities. The Corporate & Investment Banking franchise covers debt capital markets, structured and leveraged finance, infrastructure and energy/project finance, real assets including aviation, trade and commodity finance, securitization, and global markets across fixed income, equities, and derivatives, alongside risk solutions in FX and rates. Through Natixis Investment Managers, the group runs a multi-affiliate asset and wealth management model distributing strategies in equities, fixed income, alternatives, and ESG-themed mandates; insurance and payments activities are operated within BPCE’s broader platforms. Funding is predominantly wholesale, complemented by access to BPCE’s retail networks for distribution; the bank issues senior preferred, senior non-preferred, and subordinated instruments to meet MREL requirements. Natixis is supervised under the ECB’s Single Supervisory Mechanism with the ACPR as national competent authority. Strategy in recent years has prioritized fee-based and capital-light businesses, growth in structured finance origination, and ESG-labeled financing such as green bonds and sustainability-linked loans, while risk remains anchored in market volatility, counterparty exposures, and sector concentrations. Financial disclosure is primarily consolidated at the BPCE level, with subsidiary-level reporting used for funding and regulatory purposes.
