Bulgarian-American Credit Bank (BACB)

Bulgarian-American Credit Bank AD (BACB) is a Bulgarian commercial bank headquartered in Sofia, founded in 1996 by the Bulgarian-American Enterprise Fund to finance private business. It operates under a full banking license from the Bulgarian National Bank and participates in the Bulgarian Deposit Insurance Fund, which guarantees eligible deposits up to BGN 196,000 per depositor per institution. The bank provides retail and corporate services, including current and savings accounts, term deposits, domestic and cross-border payments, bank cards, online and mobile banking, and lending to households and businesses. Credit activity covers small and medium-sized enterprises, agriculture, real estate and project finance, with dedicated products for renewable energy and other environmental investments. International transfers are offered via SEPA for euro payments and SWIFT for other currencies. BACB prepares financial statements under IFRS, is subject to EU prudential rules (CRR/CRD), and publishes regulatory disclosures, including Pillar 3 reports. It operates a branch network in Bulgaria supported by remote channels, and its shares are listed on the Bulgarian Stock Exchange–Sofia, with annual and interim reports available to the public.
