Sobre Caja Rural de Zamora, Cooperativa de Crédito

Caja Rural de Zamora, Sociedad Cooperativa de Crédito, is a Spanish cooperative bank headquartered in Zamora and integrated into Grupo Caja Rural. It provides retail and commercial banking to individuals, the self‑employed, SMEs, and the agri‑food sector, operating a regional branch network and digital channels through Ruralvía (web and mobile). Its product set includes current and savings accounts, term deposits, debit and credit cards, SEPA transfers and direct debits, Bizum payments, cash and treasury services, mortgages, consumer and auto loans, agricultural lending, guarantees, and merchant services such as POS terminals and e‑commerce gateways. Investment and savings solutions (e.g., investment funds and pension plans) are distributed via Grupo Caja Rural’s asset‑management and securities platforms, and insurance is offered through the group’s bancassurance arrangements; these activities are subject to CNMV and insurance supervisory rules, while the bank itself is supervised by Banco de España. As a cooperative, customers may subscribe cooperative capital pursuant to the entity’s statutes and governance is exercised through a general assembly and board. Eligible deposits are covered by Spain’s Deposit Guarantee Fund up to €100,000 per depositor and per institution; investment products are not covered and can fluctuate in value. Digital access follows PSD2 strong customer authentication requirements, and product conditions, fees, and rates vary by profile and channel. Account opening requires standard identification and anti‑money‑laundering documentation; nonresident onboarding and services may be restricted. Customer complaints can be submitted to the entity’s customer service and, if unresolved within statutory deadlines, escalated to the Banco de España complaints service, with investment or insurance complaints handled by the CNMV or the Directorate‑General for Insurance as applicable. The institution publishes regulatory disclosures, financial statements, and prudential information in line with EU and Spanish banking transparency rules.
