About Natixis, S.A., Sucursal en España
Natixis, S.A., Sucursal en España is the Spanish branch of Natixis S.A., the corporate and investment bank within Groupe BPCE, operating in Spain under the EU passport for credit institutions. The branch focuses on wholesale services for corporate, financial institution and public-sector clients, including structured and acquisition finance, project and real assets finance (infrastructure, energy and real estate), trade and export finance, debt capital markets and securitisation, and global markets activities across fixed income, rates, foreign exchange and equity derivatives, together with risk management and treasury solutions. It primarily serves professional clients and eligible counterparties and does not provide retail banking services. Prudential supervision is carried out at home-state level by the European Central Bank within the Single Supervisory Mechanism and by the French supervisor (ACPR), while Banco de España oversees certain conduct and reporting aspects in Spain and the CNMV supervises the provision of investment services. Eligible deposits, if accepted at the branch, are covered by the French deposit guarantee scheme (Fonds de Garantie des Dépôts et de Résolution) in line with EU rules; investment services are subject to MiFID II investor protection and Spanish conduct requirements. Pricing is negotiated bilaterally with clients, and the branch applies EU and Spanish rules on anti-money laundering, market abuse and transparency. Complaints are handled through an internal process, with possible escalation to the complaints services of Banco de España or the CNMV depending on the product or service. As a branch, its financial position is linked to that of Natixis S.A. and the wider BPCE group, and its risk profile reflects credit, market, liquidity and operational risks typical of corporate and investment banking, with recovery and resolution frameworks led by French and EU authorities under the Single Resolution Mechanism.
