Sparbanken Skåne AB (publ)

Sparbanken Skåne AB (publ) is a regional Swedish savings bank operating across Skåne County. The bank emerged in 2014–2015 through the combination of legacy local savings banks and parts of the former Sparbanken Öresund. Ownership is shared between regional savings bank foundations and Swedbank AB, and the bank follows the Swedish savings bank cooperation model, using shared infrastructure and distributing selected products, including mortgages funded via Swedbank Hypotek. Its offering covers retail and SME banking with payment accounts, cards, domestic and international payments, savings and investments, mortgages and other lending, and cash management, with services also available for agriculture and municipal clients. Delivery is through a branch network in Skåne and nationwide digital channels, with internet and mobile banking using BankID and support for Swish. Sparbanken Skåne is authorized and supervised by Finansinspektionen and participates in the Swedish deposit guarantee scheme administered by Riksgälden; eligible deposits are protected up to SEK 1,050,000 per depositor, with statutory temporary higher coverage for certain life events. As an AB (publ) it publishes annual and interim reports, risk and capital disclosures, and a sustainability report; capital and liquidity are managed under CRR/CRD rules (including LCR and NSFR), and the bank applies Swedish AML/CTF and consumer protection regulations.
