Caisse d’Epargne et de Prévoyance Rhône Alpes is a regional cooperative bank within Groupe BPCE, based in Lyon and serving the Rhône-Alpes area, notably the departments of Rhône, Ain, Isère, Savoie and Haute-Savoie, through a network of branches and ATMs. It offers retail and private banking for individuals—current accounts, cards on the Visa network, domestic and international transfers (SEPA/SWIFT), regulated and market savings (including Livret A, LDDS, PEL/CEL) and life insurance, along with consumer credit, mortgages and lending for home renovation and energy upgrades. As a cooperative, customers may become sociétaires by subscribing for shares and can participate in certain governance processes. The institution is authorized and supervised in France by the ACPR, with group-level supervision under the ECB’s Single Supervisory Mechanism, and eligible deposits are covered by the French deposit guarantee scheme (FGDR) up to €100,000 per depositor per institution.
